Origins
This vine variety is thought to come from some southern Asian areas such as Syria and Anatolia. The credit for its introduction to Italy goes to the Venetian merchants who brought it here in the XIII century.

Planting density
4,000 plants per hectare
Wine-making
Destemming, crushing and then low pressure pressing. The must is preserved at a controlled temperature between +1 and +5 °C in stainless steel tanks.
Processing
Second fermentation in big closed containers at a controlled temperature for 30 days.
Colour
Straw yellow with greenish hues.
Perfume
Wine with extensive flower-like aromatic notes with a strong Muscat character and tropical fruit scents.
Taste
Sweet and lingering, recalling the original fruit
